Details
On the afternoon of April 12, 2021, in the high altitudes of the Accursed Mountains, local shepherd Johan Mustafa (60s) witnessed his sheep behaving strangely. Rocks and trees in the vicinity appeared to stretch and shrink visually, and the distant bleating of his sheep was significantly delayed. Mustafa reported severe dizziness and sensations of either floating or being extremely heavy, eventually losing consciousness on the spot.
His testimony was initially dismissed as altitude sickness or hallucination, but several similar reports emerged from hikers weeks later. They, too, reported that the terrain appeared unnaturally warped in specific sections, sounds echoed or were absorbed unusually, and their sense of balance was severely disrupted. These testimonies, independent of each other, showed a high degree of consistency in the nature of the phenomena.
Taking the situation seriously, authorities dispatched their first investigation team in late May of the same year. The team deployed a sensor array and high-resolution cameras at the coordinates where anomalies were reported. Initial data recorded no notable physical anomalies, but one team member experienced temporary visual distortion, tinnitus, and an abrupt loss of balance during the setup process. His radio communications were intermittent, and the audio data contained strange noise.
Subsequently, the anomalies continued to occur sporadically. An authority drone, while passing through a specific airspace, suddenly lost control and was re-acquired at a different location approximately 150 meters away.
