Details
On April 12, 2021, a group of lumberjacks working in a forest in the Svaneti region discovered an inexplicable low-frequency rumble and massive footprints. The footprints measured approximately 45 centimeters in length and 20 centimeters in width, exhibiting characteristics distinctly different from human tracks. They simultaneously reported witnessing a large, dark shadow moving through the trees in the distance at the same time.
The following year, a mountain guide, while leading tourists, encountered a gigantic ape-like creature that emerged from bushes about 50 meters away. The guide reported that before the creature disappeared within a short period, its physique and movements indicated extraordinary physical capabilities. Since then, similar sighting reports have been intermittently submitted to the authorities.
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, authorities dispatched a full-scale investigation team to the site starting in June 2023.
