Around 2:30 PM on July 12, 2018, a local resident hiking near Å village on Moskenesøya, Lofoten Islands, Norway, reported a sudden physical abnormality. Preliminary investigations by the authorities revealed that a long-standing local legend, known as "Jörmungandr's Breath," describes the sea becoming heavy and time warping in this region.
On April 10, 2021, the authorities dispatched a full-scale investigation team, deploying high-sensitivity gravimeters, precise acoustic sensors, and time measurement devices including a cesium atomic clock at the center of the anomaly. Around 3:00 AM on November 18, 2022, the installed equipment recorded anomalous values.
