Summary

On October 27, 2018, in the deep Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania, Romania, multiple explorers reported an inexplicable shadow apparition and electronic device malfunctions at an abandoned monastery ruin. Their recorded footage captured a translucent human-like figure passing through a wall, immediately followed by audio track corruption. Since then, similar phenomena have been sporadically observed at the site, revealing localized temperature drops and unidentified low-frequency noise under specific conditions. The Authority deems these events as defying physical laws and is currently conducting ongoing investigations. The core of the incident remains unresolved, with the recurrence and non-physical nature of the phenomena attracting the Authority's interest.

Details

At 23:17 on October 27, 2018, in the deep Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania, Romania, within the desolate ruins of an abandoned monastery, a group of explorers encountered an inexplicable phenomenon. Their recorded footage captured a translucent human-like figure slowly passing through a stone wall inside the monastery. Immediately after this sighting, intense noise disrupted the audio track of the digital camera the group was using, and part of the recording became corrupted.

Upon receiving this report, the Authority promptly initiated information gathering. In nearby villages, there were long-standing local legends of strange, 'chant-like' sounds emanating from the monastery ruins at night. Furthermore, several past cases of similar electronic device malfunctions and inexplicable localized temperature drops had been confirmed. Investigation into local historical records revealed accounts of the monastery having been subject to inquisitions and subsequently closed.

From May 2019, the Authority dispatched an on-site investigation team to unravel the incident. Extensive observations were conducted using infrared cameras, high-sensitivity acoustic sensors, and electromagnetic wave measuring devices. As a result, localized cold anomalies, several degrees lower than the surroundings, were intermittently observed at specific points. Concurrently, peculiar low-frequency noises, unexplainable by ordinary electromagnetic interference, were also frequently recorded.

However, when these anomalies were most pronounced, the recording equipment deployed by the investigation team frequently suffered unexplained shutdowns or data corruption. Multiple attempts to visually capture the human-like figure consistently failed. While the phenomena occurred, obtaining definitive direct evidence proved exceedingly difficult.

Notably, the frequency patterns of the noise did not match any known natural phenomena or artificial sources. Furthermore, the localized and abrupt nature of the temperature drops could not be explained by surrounding environmental changes. The Authority believes these physical contradictions suggest a non-physical characteristic of the event. While the recorded low-frequency sounds sometimes exhibited characteristics close to the human vocal range, they were determined to carry no linguistic meaning.

Currently, this incident remains unresolved and under continuous investigation. The Authority prioritizes identifying the conditions and reproducibility of the phenomena and is considering introducing more advanced sensor technologies. The monastery ruins remain under strict surveillance, with efforts dedicated to recording new occurrences.

The Authority does not rule out the possibility that this incident represents an event with unknown physical properties, transcending the scope of a mere spectral phenomenon. The accumulation of records will eventually unlock the key to this inexplicable phenomenon.

Timeline

  1. Oct 27, 2018, 23:17Exploration group records translucent shadow and electronic anomaly at monastery ruins. First report.
  2. Mar 12, 2019Multiple similar reports accumulated. Authority begins documenting the incident.
  3. May 01, 2019Authority dispatches an on-site investigation team. Acoustic sensors and infrared cameras installed.
  4. Jul 20, 2019During investigation, multiple recording devices cease function or suffer data corruption. Localized cold spots and low-frequency noise recorded simultaneously.
  5. Jan 15, 2020Irregular continuation of phenomena confirmed. Specific frequency patterns analyzed but remain unexplained.

Witness Testimony

Witness A (Exploration Group Leader)In the depths of the ruins, I saw a faint human-like shadow in the mist. The moment it moved as if passing through the wall, the camera monitor glitched, and the audio turned to static. It felt like we were being rejected by something.
Witness C (Local Resident)Sometimes at night, I hear strange sounds coming from that monastery. It's like chanting, but not words. When I listen, I always feel uneasy.

Kyu's Analysis

The phenomenon persists. The unexplained frequency anomalies are crucial for understanding this conditional manifestation.
